Ascension Parish high school football: Week 10

In one of the area's best traditional rivalries, East Ascension meets St. Amant in week ten action.

The Spartans will face the Gators at The Pit starting at 7 p.m.

East Ascension (6-3, 2-2) defeated Woodlawn last week, while St. AMant (5-4, 1-3) fell to Catholic.

Dutchtown (9-0, 4-0) will meet Catholic (3-6, 3-1) at Olympia Stadium in Baton Rouge. The Griffins are coming off of a win at McKinley.

In District 9-1A, White Castle will head to Donaldsonville to take on Ascension Catholic.

Ascension Christian went to Catholic on Thursday for the regular season finale against St. John.

Donaldsonville was also in action Thursday against rival St. James.
