The New Orleans Saints rallied late for a 30-27 win over the Carolina Panthers Sunday afternoon in their division opener.

After jumping out to a 23-13 lead in the third quarter, the Saints found themselves trailing 27-23 with less than a minute to go.

Saints quarterback Drew Brees connected with running back Pierre Thomas on a 6-yard touchdown pass to give the visiting team the winning score with 50 seconds remaining.
