The Gonzales Fire Department on?Orice Roth Rd. is showing their support for the fight against breast cancer.

The Gonzales Fire Department will be showing their support this month, as they don pink shirts so that all can remember the importance of Breast Awareness Month.

Chief Tracey Normand is proud to wear the shirts for the cause.

“I feel it is incredibly important for all of us to show our support for an issue that is impacting the lives of so many people.”

Fire Department 10 will wear the shirts throughout the month of October as their way of raising awareness, and offering support.

“Cancer is a terrible disease,” said Normand. “Anything we can do to help, we’ll do.”

The public is invited to purchase the shirts for $10, with all money raised going directly into a fund to help with the department’s efforts during Relay for Life.
