No. 3 LSU outlasts No. 25 Mississippi State in 19-6 win

After trading field goals for the first three quarters, LSU scored 10 unanswered points to close a 19-6 victory over Mississippi State Thursday night.
Kicker Drew Alleman accounted for four field goals for LSU (3-0, 1-0 in SEC). The lone touchdown of the game came in the fourth quarter when quarterback Jarrett Lee connected with wide receiver Rueben Randle on a 19-yard pass.
Lee completed 21 of 27 passes for 213 yards and a touchdown. He also threw his first interception of the season.
LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne recorded two interceptions in the game.
