Louisiana Recreation Cheerleading Association seeks instructors

Staff reports

The Louisiana Recreation Cheerleading Association will be accepting employment applications for 2012 cheerleading instructors.

Employment is open to cheerleaders across the state of Louisiana ages 16 and older with at least two years of cheerleading experience.

Sable Williams, State Director of the Louisiana Recreation Cheerleading Association, said, “2011 was our first full year of cheerleading activities. But even though we only hosted a few events, I’m hopeful for the future of the organization. We can only grow from here.”

LRCA is looking for 5-8 instructors (female and male) for each of their eight regions to choreograph cheerleading event material and conduct summer camps, fall clinics and all star activities.

All instructor positions include a one-year contract with LRCA.

Visit www.larecreationcheer.org/employment for more information and to download the instructor application packet.

The deadline to apply for a position is Dec. 10. All 2012 instructors will be announced by Jan. 1, 2012.
