Local man heads to Joplin with relief

Last Friday morning, Noland Boudreaux began his journey to Joplin to deliver relief items to the city.

Two PODs had been set up in?Ascension?Parish, and Noland and some friends unpacked the PODs and loaded up on?Thursday afternoon in a truck and trailer donated to him by E & E Industrial?Services in Gonzales.

Noland made the almost 1400 miles round trip journey solo and was met with resounding thanks in Joplin.

He delivered food, drinks, clothes, books, hygiene products, and more, with the remaining funds donated being sent to the city’s tornado relief fund.
