Sheriff's office looking for shooting suspect

The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested three men in connection with two shootings that occurred in the City of Donaldsonville. Demetrius Christopher Williams, Anthony Marquette Clark, and Malcolm Oliver, were arrested for the shootings in the McDonalds parking lot and on Elizabeth Street on the night of July 3rd.   

As a result of the shootings two individuals were struck by gunfire and sustained non-life threatening injuries. A number of cars and a home were also struck by the gunfire.

A fourth suspect, 22 year old Larry Earl Miles, of 924 Elizabeth Street Donaldsonville, Louisiana is also wanted in connection with the July 3rd shootings.   

Detectives have obtained arrest warrants on Miles for principal to attempted 2nd degree murder, Illegal use of a weapon, disturbing the peace and aggravated assault. Miles has a criminal history dating back to 2007 that consist of principal to attempted second degree murder, domestic abuse battery, aggravated battery, possession of stolen property, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, flight from an officer, and drug and weapons charges.  

Larry Earl Miles is a fugitive for Ascension Parish and should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office at 225-621-INFO (4636) or Crime Stoppers at 225-344-STOP (7867).
