Ascension Parish dancers have begun practicing in anticipation for this year’s Dancing for a Cause event.?

The event, held on Saturday, July 9, at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center, is expected to be the best yet.

All money raised during the event will go to support the ARC of East Ascension as they enhance the quality of life for persons with disabilities and their families through services and advocacy that support choice, independence and dignity.

This year’s event sees some well known local faces taking part, including Brooke LeBlanc Knight with LeBlanc’s Food Stores, Wanda August with the Ascension Parish?School Board, Marie Broussard with Coldwell Banker, Jodi Loar with Color Wheel, Kevin “Chef K.D.”?Diez with Chef K.D.
