Due to the flooding along the Mississippi River, Louisiana is beginning to respond to the rising Mississippi River and the record high levels expected in the next few weeks.

The information below is obtained from the United States Geological Survey and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and has been compiled by the Department of Natural Resources to allow a quick look at information pertinent to the Atchafalaya Basin.

Location: Southern most gauge on the Ohio River in Illinois
