Retired Air Force Major receives recognition

Retired U.S. Air Force Major Donald Bailey received an Ascension Parish Certificate of Recognition during the Parish Council meeting held on Jan. 6.

Major Bailey was recently honored as the 2010 Air Force JROTC Outstanding Instructor for his work at Donaldsonville High School. He was selected for this award over more than 2,000 instructors and was also the Louisiana High School “Teacher of the Year.”
