McDonalds gets a facelift

The McDonald's on Airline Hwy. in Gonzales began its remodeling project on Thursday, Jan. 13. The business will open its doors again sometime in the next 90 days.

The McDonalds on Airline Hwy. in Gonzales was demolished on Thursday, Jan. 13, and work will soon begin on buiding a new McDonald's on the same site. “The building of a new McDonalds is planned, and completion of the project is expected to take 90 days,” said Joshua Baham with S. Baham Construction. The building is over 30 years old and needed modernization to meet the demands of customers.

Worker were on-hand to made sure the demolition project went smoothly.
