Louisiana Veterans Honor Medal Awards Event

On Monday, Jan. 10 at 2:45 p.m. the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs (LDVA) Secretary Lane Carson, along with Governor Bobby Jindal and local officials, will host a Louisiana Veterans Honor Medal ceremony to award Medals to Ascension Parish and surrounding area Veterans.

The Veterans Honor Medal Ceremony will honor and thank Ascension Parish and surrounding area Veterans for their military service.  

Applications for the Honor Medal will be available at the event – Veterans must bring a copy of their DD214 or discharge papers.
