The Gator Girls of St. Amant High School are hosting a basketball tournament this week.

From Tuesday, Dec. 28 until Thursday, Dec. 30, the Gold Dome will showcase some of the best female basketball talent that parishes in our state have to offer.

Teams from Ascension Parish, East Baton Rouge Parish, Livingston Parish, Jefferson Parish and St. Tammany Parish are competing in a tournament to find out who is the best of the best.

Each day, the first game begins at noon, with the final game beginning at 7:30 p.m.

As St. Amant High School is hosting the event, members of the Booster Club are being asked to assist in serving the athletes at the completion of each game. Any amount of time is appreciated, and interested parties are asked to contact Booster Club President James LeBlanc.

Spectators are encouraged to come out and watch the action at the Gold Dome.
