LSU lands top recruit in quarterback Zach Mettenberger

Junior college standout quarterback Zach Mettenberger reportedly committed to LSU.

The 6-foot-5, 225-pound prospect most recently played for Butler Community College. The Grizzlies lost the NJCAA national championship game Sunday to Navarro College.

Mettenberger previously played at Georgia. He was dismissed for a violation of team rules.
