WHY??OH,?WHY

Weekly Citizen reader Madeline Taylor snapped this photo of an intrepid chicken crossing the road at the intersection of S. Burnside Avenue and Hwy. 30 last Thursday. Madeline says the chicken apparently crossed to get to the other side - and her photo is proof, in answer to the age old question, that the chicken may well have done just that.
