Youngsters work on baseball skills at 'Improve Your Game' camp

Young baseball players took to East Ascension High School's John Keith Ambeau Field Tuesday for the annual "Improve Your Game" camp.

The camp, which runs June 1-4 from 9 a.m. to noon, is for students from kindergarten through eighth grade.

East Ascension baseball coach Wayne Grenfell puts on the camp with the help of current and former high school players.

Campers worked on a variety of drills to improve their baseball skills.
