She died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, after a illness at age 39. She was raised in Baton Rouge and resided in Gonzales. Interment in St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery, Gonzales.

Hunter, Louella Tobin

A resident of Prairieville, she died Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales. She was 88. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, Tuesday, Feb. 23, from 10 a.m. until religious services at noon. Interment will follow in Hope Haven Cemetery, Gonzales.

Jackson Jr., Harry Liewellyn “Lonnie”

An employee of American Electric Power and resident of Gonzales, he died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, in Donaldsonville. He was 50 and a native of Geismar. Visiting at First Pilgrim Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Geismar, Tuesday, Feb. 23, from 5 p.m. until religious service at 7 p.m. Dismissal at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Interment in church cemetery.

Keller, Gerald Charles “Coach”

A retired French Settlement High School boys and girls basketball coach and principal passed away at his home in French Settlement Saturday morning, Feb. 20, 2010. He was 73, born on Feb. 22, 1936, and a native of French Settlement. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in French Settlement. Visitation at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, French Settlement, on Tuesday, Feb. 23, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial in the church cemetery.

Laiche, Ricky J.

A disabled carpenter, he passed away at 7:05 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales from complications of surgery. He was 48. He was a native of New Orleans and a resident of French Settlement. Interment in St. Joseph Catholic Fellowship Hall Cemetery, French Settlement.

Mc Crory, Iris Lee Dudie

A resident of Prairieville, she died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at age 75. Interment in Victory Temple Church Cemetery, 41200 La. 933, Prairieville. She had previously attended Community Opportunity of East Ascension.

Nesmith, Peggy Sue Bosnick

She died at home Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, of cancer. She was born in Moro, Ark., on Dec. 24, 1945. Visitation Tuesday, Feb. 23, from 9 a.m. until memorial service at 11 a.m. Peggy will be laid to rest near her family in Moro.
