"Jump Now" author Carol Pierce will be a guest on EATEL's "Community Connection" program, where she will explain how anyone can overcome obstacles to achieve their dreams, just as the New Orleans Saints have.

"Like the New Orleans Saints, we all have dreams, but not everyone understands how to turn those dreams into reality," Pierce said.

"Community Connection," hosted by Jenny Heroman, airs on EATEL's Channel 4 on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and on Tuesday and Thursday at noon.

The program will also include Ascension Community Theatre's "Little Shop of Horrors," events benefiting Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital and "Bayou Country Grits a YaYa" from Jerry Folse.

Readers wanting more individualized tips on how to make what they really want possible are invited to Pierce's book signing Sunday, March 21 from 1-4 p.m. Pierce will be signing copies of her three books "Jump Now," "Wanna Self-Publish" and "Exceptional Accomplishment" at the Community Coffee House in Prairieville.

That book signing is part of Community Coffee House's efforts to promote regional talent, especially those by Ascension Parish residents involved with the River Region Art Association.
