Eliser, Norris P. “Boogie”

A resident and native of Gonzales, he died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at Ochsner Medical Center, Baton Rouge. He was 79 and served for seven years in the Army National Guard. He was a retired aerial photographer from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and a volunteer coach for 37 years for numerous youth baseball teams. A member of the Lakeridge Hunting Club. Interment in Hope Haven Mausoleum, La. 30.

Frederic, Elsie Mae Babin

A long time resident of St. Amant and a native of Gonzales, she passed away Feb. 11, 2010. She was born Dec. 27, 1929. Visitation will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Sunday, Feb. 14 from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. and will resume on Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Interment will be in the church mausoleum. She is survived by her children: Gloria Guedry and husband Lamar “Tut” Guedry, Ronnie Frederic and wife Adele B. Frederic, Kenny Frederic and wife Jessica L. Frederic, Anna Brignac and husband Danny Brignac; daughter-in-law Jo Ann Frederic; 17 grandchildren: Brent and Jodie Guedry, Renee Jones, Tara Dearing, Stephen, Kayla, Kenny, Nick, and Chad Frederic, Kim Dupin, Gerald Jr., Jeffrey, Stan, and Randy Frederic, Shane Holdridge, Brandi and Layne Brignac; 26 great- grandchildren; 3 step-great- grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, sister Joyce Frederic, brothers George and wife Sheron Babin and Lionel “Boogie” and wife Betty Babin; sister-in-law Theresa Babin, brother-in-law Louis Templet; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her loving husband 53 years Stanley Frederic; son Gerald Frederic Sr.; parents George Sr.,  and Bertha Parent Babin; sister Vernell Templet; brothers Fritz Babin, Louis Babin and wife Beverly; brother-in -law Adam “Feetie” Frederic. Kreamer, E.J.

A resident of Gonzales, he died early Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at Gonzales Health Care. He was 85 and a native of Darrow. Interment in Ascension Catholic Cemetery,  Donaldsonville.

Robinson, Paul Dowling

He was 53, a native of Gonzales and a resident of Boiling Spring Lakes, N.C. He passed away at his home on Monday, Feb. 8, 2010.  Memorial services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Weeks, Ruth Hoover

A resident of Maurepas, she passed away on Monday, Feb. 8, 2010. She was 88 and a native of Head of Island. She was a member of the KC Auxiliary Blessed Eugene Council 6753, a lector and member of the Ladies Altar Society at St. Stephen Catholic Church.  Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Young, Emma Gene

A resident of Geismar and retired retail manager, she passed away on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at Hospice of Baton Rouge Butterfly Unit. She was 68 and a native of West Plains, Mo. Arrangements are under the direction of Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, www.oursofh.com.
