Donaldsonville receives bond approval

BATON ROUGE – The State Bond Commission approved nearly $13 million in funding for projects in the Baton Rouge area, including $1.427 million for the City of Donaldsonville for waterworks improvements Jan. 21.

State Treasurer John Kennedy said the commission also moved forward with $400,000 in loans for the city, contingent on approval.
