Freeze warning in effect for area

A freeze warning is in effect for the area, including Ascension Parish and neighboring parishes, from midnight to 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Temperatures could possibly fall into the 20 to 25 degree range just before sunrise Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Today...Partly cloudy. Highs in the lower 40s. North winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight...Mostly clear. Lows in the mid 20s. North winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday...Sunny. Highs in the mid 40s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday Night...Mostly clear. Lows in the mid 20s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday...Sunny in the morning then becoming partly cloudy. Highs in the lower 50s. East winds around 5 mph.
