OBITUARY: Millet Jr., John B. “Teenie”

John B. “Teenie” Millet Jr., 52, of Lillie, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas following a sudden illness. Born July 21, 1957 in Baton Rouge, he was the son of John Buck Millet Sr. and Betty Ann LeBlanc Millet. He had been employed the past four years as a body repairman at Laney’s Collision Centre. He attended Bethel Baptist Church near Lillie. Preceding him in death along with his father were a sister, Margaret Lisa Lowring and his maternal grandmother, Margaurette Williams. Survivors include a sister, Dana Millet of Haynesville; a brother, Paul Millet and his wife Becky of St. Amant; his mother, Betty Ann Millet of Farmerville;  and his maternal grandfather, L. C. Williams of Bacliff, Texas. He is also survived by nephews, Jason LeMoine of Quitman, Ricky Durbin of Jonesboro, James Whitman of Hodge, Joshua Millet and Michael Millet both of St. Amant; and nieces, Jessica Baker of Coushatta, and Sara Odenbaugh of Weston; a great nephew, Ethan Conville of Weston; and great nieces, Madelynn Baker and Gracie Baker both of Coushatta. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2009 at Bethel Baptist Church near Lillie, with Rev. Adair Ellen officiating. Interment followed in Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. The family received friends at Bailey Funeral Home in Junction City from 4-9 p.m. Sunday evening.
