Interstate 10 ramp to close six hours
The Interstate 10 westbound entrance ramp at Hwy. 73 in Prairieville will be closed for six hours May 20-21.
A work crew, weather permitting, will close the interchange to widen the concrete pavement on the ramp, according to the Department of Transportation and Development.
The project is scheduled to start May 20 at 10 p.m. and finish May 21 at 4 a.m.
All lanes of Interstate 10 will remain open at all times.
No vehicles will be allowed to use the ramp during the six hours of the closure.
DOTD recommends motorists take Hwy. 73 north to U.S. 61 to travel north toward Baton Rouge during the work time.
