Zoning map meetings added

The Ascension Parish Department of Planning and Zoning announced the addition of three evening meetings to the town hall zoning map revisions tour for each council district.

The series of 11 meetings will allow the public to provide input on the proposed changes to the parish zoning map.

The additional meetings will be:

• March 25, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Oak Grove Community Center, Districts 4, 7, 11, 5.

• March 26, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Dept. of Public Works, Districts 2, 3, 9, 10, 6.

• March 30, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Lemann Center, Districts 1, 2, 3.

The other meetings, which were previously announced, will be:

• March 23, 9-11 a.m., Lemann Center, Donaldsonsville, District 1.

• March 24, 9-11 a.m. St. Amant Park, District 6.

• March 25, 9-11 a.m., Darrow Community Center, District 3.

• March 25, 2-4 p.m., Ascension Civic Center, Sorrento, District 2.

• March 30, 9-11 a.m., Oak Grove Community Center, District 4 and 7.

• March 30, 2-4 p.m., Dept. of Public Works, District 9 and 10.

• March 31, 9-11 a.m., Geismar Community Center, District 8.

• March 31, 2-4 p.m., Galvez Library, District 5 and 11.
