This week has been designated by the American Dental Assistants Association and the American Dental Association as the perfect time to acknowledge and recognize the versatile, multitalented members of your dental team . . . your dental assistants. It is referred as DAWR-Dental Assistants Recognition Week. A “dental assistant” is any staff member that works within a dental office in the business office, the treatment area, or the dental office laboratory. This year’s motto is: “One Team, One Goal, Improving Oral Health.”
