Braud, Lula Belle Brignac    

She died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. She was 79, a homemaker, a native of Lake and a resident of Gonzales. Entombment in Hope Haven Cemetery, Gonzales.

Bullock, Bobby Jean “B.J.”       

He died at his home in St. Amant on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008. He was 79, born on March 14, 1929. B.J. was a retired U.S. Navy chief petty officer. His distinguished military career included service in both the Korean and Vietnam wars. As a civilian, he was a retired millwright. He was a member of New River Baptist Church and New River Masonry Lodge. Interment in New River Baptist Church Cemetery.

Dorsey, Bartholomew Mansfield “Barty”       

He was 55, a resident of Plaquemine and a native of Donaldsonville. He loved fishing and music. Interment in Grace Memorial Park.

Hardy, Audrey King

A resident of Hayward, Calif., and a former resident of Prairieville, she died at her home on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008. She was born May 7, 1940. She retired after 25 years in the health care profession. Memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Himel, Percy Victor   

A U.S. Army veteran and a resident of Gonzales, Percy Victor Himel, 67, died at 11 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was a retired heavy-equipment operator and a native of Geismar.

House, Theresa Pearl (McCoy)       

Employed by the Livingston Parish school system as a paraprofessional, she passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, at her residence in French Settlement. Interment in Salem Cemetery, Walker.

Mapes, Jude Aaron       

A resident of Gonzales and an electrician with Bayou Electric, he passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 14, 2008. He was 29 and a native of Baton Rouge.

Simoneaux, Edward Joseph    

A retired carpenter, he died at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, at The Care Center. He was 80 and a resident and native of Head of Island. Interment in First Baptist Church Cemetery, Head of Island.

Templet, John Philip

He was born March 21, 1987. He was 21 and a student at Southeastern Louisiana University majoring in physical therapy. He was a 2005 graduate of East Ascension High School. A resident of Gonzales, he died on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, due to an automobile accident. In terment in Hope Haven Cemetery on La. 30 in Gonzales.
