The Louisiana Edible Creations Center (LECC), Louisiana’s only incubator dedicated to the food entrepreneur operated by the Ascension Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) in Gonzales, recently announced that the products that are produced and packaged at the facility are available now at local grocery stores in Ascension Parish.

AEDC is partnering with LeBlanc’s Food Stores to provide a shelf dedicated to locally-made products from tenants at the center, said Kristin Batulis, director of the LECC with the Ascension Economic Development Corporation.

Ascension residents can find these products at the LeBlanc’s Food Stores in Prairieville and Gonzales. LECC tenants will demo products on weekends so that buyers can taste products which include Bar-B-Q Sauce, Pepper Relish, Sun-dried Tomato Basil Dipper, Remoulade Sauce, Salsa, Pepper Jelly and Buttery Peanut Toffee.

“The trend of people rediscovering the benefits of supporting and buying locally produced food products is growing,” Batulis said. “We’re very excited to assist our tenants and hope that LeBlanc’s shoppers enjoy the products as much as we do.”
