Donald, Annabell Jacques

A native and resident of Convent, she died at her sister's home in Gonzales at 8:35 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 3, 2008. She was 74. Visiting at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 1150 S. 12th St., on Friday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Jason Palermo. Interment in Southern Memorial Gardens.

Folks, Deena LaNell

A resident of Livingston and native of Prairieville, she passed on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008. She was 26. Visiting will be at Community Bible Fellowship Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at 11 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. conducted by Brother Raymond Wade. She is survived by her fiancé’, Garret King; mother, Barbara Darlene Folks; grandparents, Norma Walker and George Folks; daughter, Annabella Frances Folks; sister, Inga Leah Stroughter; and a niece, Josse Stroughter. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Folks; twin sisters, Kallie and Olivia Folks; grandfather, William Reed; and grandmother Velma Matte Folks. Pallbearers will be James Andrews, Denver Butters, Terry Folks, John Tullier, Mike Dement, and Chad Acosta. She enjoyed spending time with her family, being outdoors, listening to good music and just passing a good time. The family would like to thank Community Bible Fellowship, ICU nurses and staff of Ochsner Medical Center, a special thanks to nurses Jessica and Nicole, Acadian Ambulance Paramedic Derrick Bizet, and all of our prayer warriors. They would also like to thank the staff of Clarity Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Community Bible Fellowship.
