Galvez-Lake Vol. Fire Dept. announces Christmas caroling routes

Staff Writer
Gonzales Weekly Citizen

Santa and the Galvez-Lake Firefighters will be caroling in your neighborhood again this year. Santa will be collecting canned goods, new unwrapped toys and donations. Santa will hand out candy canes to the kids.

Caroling will begin 6 p.m. each night and end approximately 9 p.m.

The fire department will put out green and red reminder signs at the entrance of your subdivision or street on the morning of the scheduled route for your area.

All routes will be run, weather permitting. If, however, it rains on your scheduled night, Santa will be at Galvez-Lake Fire Department on Joe Sevario Road on that particular night. There will not be "makeup" nights for rainouts. There may be an additional day for possible add-on routes TBD.

For more information, contact Karen James at 205-8660 or Galvez-Lake Fire Department – 622-2490 between 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
