St. Elizabeth Hospital receives Modern Healthcare Magazine's Best Places to Work in Healthcare Award

St. Elizabeth Hospital (www.steh.com), recently announced it has placed 99th in Modern Healthcare's 2012 Best Places to Work in Healthcare awards. The magazine's annual Best Places to Work in Healthcare program recognizes employers for creating workplaces in healthcare that enable employees to perform at their optimum level to provide patients and customers with the best possible patient care and services.

This is the second year in a row that St. Elizabeth Hospital has made the list, and is one of only three healthcare organizations from Louisiana to make the list. Part of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, St. Elizabeth Hospital employees over 500 team members, has a medical staff of over 200 physicians and allied health professionals, and offers a broad range of healthcare services including orthopedic surgery, women's services, a full-range of diagnostics, bartiatrics, critical care, and more. St. Elizabeth Hospital been recognized state-wide and nationally for excellence in patient satisfaction and quality.
