Happy Anniversary

Bob and Mary (Cedotal) Charles celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 10, 2015. The couple was married on Dec. 10, 1965, in Westwego and have resided in Prairieville for the last 38 years. Bob relocated to south Louisiana from San Antonio, Texas, following his service in the U.S. Army in 1965, and is retired fromm Vulcan Chemicals. Mary resided in Westwego until they moved to the Baton Rouge area, and has been a devoted wife and homemaker. Both have been outstanding parents and grandparents. The couple has three children, Larry Blanchard and wife Stacey, Michelle Braud and husband Lynn, and Rob Charles and his fiance Brandy Villar. They have six grandchildren and two great-grandsons. 

The occasion was celebrated at Grand Pavilion in Gonzales on Dec. 5, 2015. All of their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were in attendance, as well as family and friends from Texas, Miss., New Orleans and various parts of south Louisiana. A review of their 50 years together with family and friends was enjoyed with a slideshow of pictures through the years. A good time was had by all.
