90th birthday celebration held

Audrey Rene, formerly of Sorrento, who now resides at Ascension Oaks Nursing Home in Gonzales celebrated his 90th birthday Saturday, June 16. The celebration, which included his family, was held at his daughter’s home in Sorrento. He is the father of four children: Perry Rene, Burnadine Roussel, Brenda Gautreau and Lawrence Rene; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
