The event saw around 1,200 people in attendance on the Saturday, with that number increasing to around 1,600 on the Sunday. Families took time to peruse all of the booths.

Last weekend's Awesome Art on the Bayou was a huge hit.

The event, free for the public and held at Jambalaya Park in Gonzales, saw over 2,000 people attend over the two days.

Local artists and merchants gathered to showcase their work to the public, with much of it sold during the event.

Items on display and for sale ranged from hand made soaps to paintings to sculptures to crafts, and much more. There definitely was something for everyone.
