Rogers, Liotto to exchange wedding vows

Raymond Liotto, Jr. and Judy Brister Liotto of Prairieville are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amanda LeeChelle Liotto, to John Patrick Rogers, son of Kathy and Kirk Rogers of Lafayette.

The bride-elect is the grand-daughter of the late Raymond Liotto, Sr. and Olivia Matherne Liotto of Prairieville and late Leland and Betty Gautreau Brister of Gonzales. She is a 2001 graduate of East Ascension High School, 2005 graduate of Louisiana State University and a 2011 Honors graduate of Southern University Law Center with her Juris Doctorate. She is currently employed by Mothers Against Drunk Driving as the Louisiana Court Monitoring Project Supervisor in Baton Rouge.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Dr. John Fisher and the late Argentine “Mimi” Black Fisher and Mrs. Barbara Lynn Fisher. He is a 1995 graduate of Lafayette High School, 2008 graduate of University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a 2013 graduate of Southern University Law Center with his Juris Doctorate. He is currently employed by the Lafayette Sheriff’s Office as the Risk Management Litigation Specialist in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Amanda and John will be wed on the evening of December 27, 2013 at St. John’s Cathedral with reception immediately to follow at Oakbourne Country Club.

After their honeymoon, the couple will reside in Prairieville.
