Ascension Parish:

1. Chad Roddy, 17295 JT Roddy Rd. Prairieville, LA., age 25, pled guilty to Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

2. Tyzell Duncan, 146 21 st St. Baton Rouge, LA., age 20, pled guilty to Theft of a Firearm and Simple Burglary. The defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

3. Dylan Flores, 9926 Powell Lane Denham Springs, LA., age 20, pled guilty to Theft Valued at $1,000 or More, but Less than $5,000 and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.

4. Peyton Rogers, 11327 Shady Bend Dr. Denham Springs, LA., age 20, pled guilty to Theft Valued at $1,000 or More, but Less than $5,000 and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.

5. Alaica Furlow, 14132 Mire Rd. Gonzales, LA., age 22, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Phil Maples and Shawn Bush. Presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Thomas Kliebert.

6. Joseph Myers, 139 Ellwood St. Baton Rouge, LA., age 44, pled guilty to Simple Burglary and was sentenced to 7 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

7. Guthrie Ebey, Louisiana, age 23, pled guilty to Obstruction of Justice and Aggravated Assault with a Firearm. The defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.

8. April Dang, 43119 Pine Lake Dr. Prairieville, LA., age 40, pled guilty to Theft Valued at $5,000 or More, but Less than $25,000 (2 counts). The defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.

9. Tyler Lessard, 12453 Forrest Braud Lane Gonzales, LA., age 25, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

10. Jarrous Mitchell, 15449 Palmetto Lane Prairieville, LA., age 24, pled guilty to Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and was sentenced to 10 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

11. Paul Villar, 17079 Hwy 431 Prairieville, LA., age 37, pled guilty to Simple Escape and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Leila Braswell, and presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Jason Verdigets.
