SU Alumni Federation Tri Parish Chapter announces scholarships

The Southern University Alumni Federation - Tri-Parish Chapter (SUAF-TPC) offers financial scholarships and assistance to prospective Southern University and A&M College students, residing in Ascension, Assumption and St. James parishes. The scholarships are awarded on an annual basis, and are evaluated according to academic achievement and educational objectives. These awards may be used for tuition, housing, or books and supplies.

SUAF-TPC is proud to announce our 2018 Scholarship Recipients:

Rep. Ken Brass SU Board of Supervisors’ $1,000 Scholarship Recipients:

Miquel Miles, Jr. - Ascension Parish

Jonrell Jones - St James Parish

SUAF-TPC $250 Scholarship Recipients:

Takia Kent - Ascension Parish

Jayden Johnson - St. James Parish

Charles Dennis III - St. James Parish

Each recipient will receive a congratulations letter outlining the specifics of the scholarships.

Rep. Ken Brass would like to present his scholarships at Class Night at both Donaldsonville High and St. James High.

A representative from the SUAF-TPC would like to present the remaining scholarships at the respective Class Nights.

SUAF-TPC formerly West Ascension Southern University Alumni Association was founded in 1988. This year we celebrate 30 years of keeping alumni informed and engaged in issues surrounding the Southern University System. The chapter's members consist of Southern University alumni, friends and supporters residing in Ascension, Assumption and St. James parishes.
