Guilty Pleas January 22 - January 26

Ascension Parish:

1. Shantel Clark, 5455 Spring Lane Carville, LA., age 41, pled guilty to Failure to Return Leased Movables and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 1 year supervised probation.

2. Dillen Johnson, 7323 Carl Lane Pineville, LA., age 26, pled guilty to Simple Burglary and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.

3. Brandon Gibbs, 13140 Pecan Lane St. Amant, LA., age 33, pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.

4. Caleb Pitre, 39058 Babin Rd. Gonzales, LA., age 32, pled guilty to Attempted Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and was sentenced to 4 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 4 years supervised probation.

5. Sarah Guillot, 42131 Jefferson Dr. Hammond, LA., age 30, pled guilty to Forgery and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 1 year supervised probation.

6. Karisa Jones, 259 Howard St. Baton Rouge, LA., age 35, pled guilty to Forgery, Unauthorized Use of an Access Card, and Theft from an Aged or Disabled Person. Thedefendant was sentenced to 6 months in the parish jail with credit for time served on each count. The imposed sentences are to run concurrent with one another.

7. Ismael Lerma, 17168 Hwy 44 Prairieville, LA., age 28, pled guilty to Simple Burglary and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Phil Maples and Shawn Bush. Presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Thomas Kliebert.

Assumption Parish:

1. Guscemore Murphy, 208 College St. Napoleonville, LA., age 55, pled guilty to Theft of a Motor Vehicle and was sentenced to 1 year in the parish jail with credit for time served.

2. Donovan Mabile, 115 Roy St. Plattenville, LA., age 39, pled guilty to Felony Theft of Goods and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.

3. Scott Landry, 101 Family St. Pierre Part, LA., age 47, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.

4. Harry Banks, 2971 A Hwy 1 Labadieville, LA., age 47, pled guilty to Simple Burglary and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 1 year supervised probation.

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Lana Chaney, and presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Alvin Turner Jr.

St. James Parish:

1. Ashley Detillier, 45182 Penny Duplessis Rd. St. Amant, LA., age 42, pled guilty to Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling and was sentenced to 4 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 4 years supervised probation.

2. Timothy Anweiler, 1208 Lutcher Ave. Lutcher, LA., age 30, pled guilty to Illegal Possession of Stolen Firearms and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. The defendant was sentenced to 7 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. The said sentence is to be served without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Adam Koenig, and presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Tess Stromberg.
