Krewe de Halcyon Royalty presented at Mardi Gras ball
Krewe de Halcyon’s Royal Court were presented on January 27 at the Krewe’s third Mardi Gras Ball, "Fly me to the Moon," held at La Maison de Bella in Prairieville.
Ted and Donna Babin, the 2018 King and Queen, were honored along with their Royal Court, Dukes and Duchesses: Louis and Stacy Marionneaux, Jared and Sarah Briggs and Jason and Niki Davis. Families were honored to present their children as Gents and Princesses: Gent Noah Dugas (son of Jay and Christy Dugas) escorted Kaitlyn Young (daughter of Gabe and Heather Young) and Gent Nicholas Gremillion escorted his sister, Olivia Gremillion (children of Craig and Ericka Gremillion).
Honorary guest Gonzales Mayor Barney Arceneaux gave the Krewe toast with his wife, Betty, and family in attendance.
An outstanding performance was shared with the attendees to kick off the Royal Court Presentation.
