A gathering of Eagles took place at the April 20 Ascension Parish Council meeting. Eagle Scouts, that is.

Eagle Scouts Zachary Williams (Troop 69), Jacob Johnson (Troop 65), and Michael Conger (Troop 888) all were recognized for their achievements in attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.

The certificates state, in part, “The Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouts of America. The title of Eagle Scout is held for life, thus giving rise to the phrase "Once an Eagle, Always an Eagle.”

Congratulations to these young men for their achievement.
