Members of the Interact Club at the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts sponsored a free ACT workshop for area high school students on Saturday, Nov. 5.

The purpose of the workshop was to provide free advice and tips about how to improve ACT scores.

Club members offered sessions in math, science, reading, English and writing in order to review the types of questions students could expect on a standardized test. Several test questions were looked at and broken apart.

Among the students helping with the workshop was Ian Sager, a senior from Geismar.
