Immigration judge to address Ascension GOP Roundtable

Former Federal Immigration Judge, Carey Holliday

     Executive Amnesty and its real consequences will be the topic for former Federal Immigration Judge, Carey Holliday, when he addresses the Ascension GOP Roundtable, sponsored by Ascension Republican Women.   The Roundtable will be held on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 6 p.m. at Carli-Co Café, 1506 N. Airline Highway, Bayou Plaza, Gonzales. Registration will be from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by the program at 6:30 p.m. 

     Holliday, who served as an Immigration Judge on the Miami, Fla. court from 2006 to 2009, has also held the positions of Louisiana Assistant Attorney General, La. Administrative Law Judge and La. Workers’ Compensation Judge. From 2000 to 2004, Holliday was Treasurer of the State Republican Party. He recently served as special assistant to the Director of the La. Office of Workers’ Compensation for court evaluation and review, and has a private immigration law practice in Baton Rouge.
