School board superintendent takes command of Guard unit

Col. Alonzo “Lonnie” Luce, of Gonzales, receives the battalion flag from Brig. Gen Glenn H. Luce, the St. James Parish School Board superintendent, is replacing Col. Patti D. Woods of Pineville, as the battalion commander.
