Students at Dutchtown High School are presenting a play with a thought provoking topic.

"Bang Bang, You're Dead," takes a look at the life of a high school junior. As he struggles with what life throws his way, he makes the decision to murder his parents, sister and five classmates.

The play delves into his decision, and follows along as he lives with both his decision and his conscience.

The play's poiniant topic is reflective of what some American high schools cope with at times, and the performers all feel the message should be told.

The play will be performed in the Dutchtown High School Cafetorium tonight and Thursday. Doors will open at 6 p.m., with the play beginning at 6:30p.m.

The performance is free for any parish or surrounding area student with an ID, including primary, middle, high school and college. The cost is $5 for adults. Donations are also accepted at the door.

The show runs for 45 minutes, and the performers are certain it is something the area public will not want to miss.
