St. Amant Middle to host Fall Festival Oct. 15

Staff reports

The St. Amant Middle School Wildcats dance team and band will host its first annual Fall Festival on Oct. 15, at 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at St Amant Middle School, 44317 Highway 429, St. Amant.  The festival will be open to the public.

This event will be jammed packed with entertainment for all ages. The festival will feature live performers showing off the great talent of Ascension Parish, including singers, dancers and martial arts from local performing arts studios.  There will be lots of music, food, arts and crafts for kids, games, characters, silent auction, face painting, inflatables, merchandise booths (great for Christmas shopping) and much, much, more!

The buzz of the festival originated when The Wildcats dance team received an invitation to perform at Sea World in San Antonio, Texas. The invitation came after the dance team impressed instructors of Danceline Production Company with their hard work and astounding abilities during their summer camp. This fall festival will serve as a fundraiser to assist the dance team in their quest to star at Sea World and the band in their competitions.

You will not want to miss this event. Mark your calendars for Oct. 15, and “friend” St. Amant Middle Fall Festival on Facebook as we update the list of performers and merchandise booths. We’ll see ya’ll there!
