Louisiana Cajun Needlers of Ascension meet on Thursdays

Each Thursday at 12:30 p.m., the Louisiana Cajun Needlers of Ascension meet at the Council on Aging, Gonzales Senior Center located at 526 South Irma Boulevard, to share crochet tips, create crochet hats, cute afghans (throws), cheerful Christmas stockings and various crochet items. Since 1998, members have contributed such items in charitable support to the Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge (which serves the Ascension Parish area) as well as the Battered Women’s Shelter and Brave Hearts organizations.

The Louisiana Cajun Needlers of Ascension invites you to attend these crochet sessions and help fashion some much needed items for the organizations mentioned. Knitters are welcome as well. Also, please consider supporting the crochet group by donating yam as it is most helpful infashioning items to continue supporting the organizations mentioned above.
