Mary Manhein to Speak

Forensic Anthropologist, Mary Manhein will speak at the Ascension Parish Library in Galvez about myth, magic and miracles as related to forensic anthropology in the 21st century Thursday, May 5, at 6 p.m.

Manhein is the director of the LSU Forensic Anthropology and Computer Enhancement Services (FACES) Lab and is widely known as “The Bone Lady.”

Her recognized expertise continually prompts interviews on national news and network television programs.  She is the author of two non-fiction books, The Bone Lady and Trail of Bones.
