Skatepark fundraiser set

The annual YOURS skatepark festival will be held Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales.

The all-ages festival will feature live music and a skate competition.

The event will kick off at 12:30 p.m. with High Top Kicks, followed by Against the Stream at 2 p.m.

The skate competition will start at 3 p.m., and include best trick rail, best trick fun box and finals.

OverDrive will begin at 4 p.m., followed by Adam Dale at 4:45 p.m. Syllable 7 starts at 5:45 p.m. and Backlit Stereo follows at 6:45 p.m. Pandemic closes the festival at 7:45 p.m.

The cost is $5.
