Lemonade fundraiser benefits St. Jude

Reese Godchaux, 4, and her mother Brandi Godchaux of Geismar, served lemonade Saturday for a St. Jude Hospital fundraiser held near the entrance of Old Mill subdivision off of Hwy. 74.
They collected more than $200.
Reese had leukemia and has just completed 2 1/2 years of chemotherapy through St. Jude.
She is the 2009 Honored Hero for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk in downtown Baton Rouge Oct. 18.
Organizers are forming a team, Team Reese, in her honor and raising funds.
