Television news personality Whitney Van will be a judge for the Career Opportunities of East Ascension “Dancing for a Cause” event to be held Aug. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Gonzales Civic Center on Irma Boulevard. Van is on the Board of Directors of the United Way, Baton Rouge Crisis Intervention Center, and is Board President for the Hurricane Katrina Relief Organization Angel of God Project.
