Byron Gautreau named jambalaya champ

World Champion Jambalaya Cook Byron Gautreau heads to the stage after winning his fourth championship Sunday at the 42nd Annual Jambalaya Festival in Gonzales. The 62-year-old Gautreau competed against 119 other cooks to win the title.

Byron Gautreau won his fourth World Champion Jambalaya Cook title Sunday night during the 42nd annual Jambalaya Festival in Gonzales.

Gautreau previously won the cooking contest in 1997, 1994 and 1992.

The 62-year-old competed against 119 cooks to win this year's title.
